School Will Not Reopen From August 15, Sindh Government Announces

Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Tuesday stated that schools within the province won’t open from Assumption .

It was each day ago when the All Pakistan Private Schools’ Association made an announcement to reopen all private schools across the country.

Addressing a news conference in Karachi, Murtaza Wahab said: “No school in Sindh will open from Assumption . we’ll not compromise on children’s health and can not allow school administrations to try to to so either.”

He also urged citizens to stay following precautionary measures, stating that new COVID-19 cases were still emerging.

“We shouldn’t lose sight of precautionary measures. If we don’t follow precautionary measures, cases may increase.”
