Primary and Secondary Health Care Department Punjab has issued notification of SOPs regarding educational institutions of the province.
The SOPs issued by Primary and Secondary Health Care Punjab said that holding of Morning Assembly, Indoor Games, Swings, Slides, Sports Activities, Seminars, Speech Competitions, Sports Competitions, and Tournaments are going to be banned.
According to the certification, masks will need to be worn, 50% of the entire capacity in class buses will need to be used and only 30% of the capacity are going to be used for hostel facilities while students will need to be provided soap and hand sanitizer. additionally , students and staff with respiratory problems are going to be confined to their homes.
The notification also directed that the tutorial institutions should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected 3 days before the commencement of educational activities, the institutions should even be disinfected on a day to day and a social distance of 6 feet should be maintained.
The notification further said that students should abide by the ban on shaking hands, social distance should be maintained during school hour .
Teachers should also adopt social distance while giving lectures, students should bring their lunch from home, the temperature of all children in educational institutions should be checked with a thermal gun and separate health logbook of all students should be prepared.
It should be noted that the federal and therefore the four provinces have agreed to open the varsity from September 15, but the ultimate decision during this regard are going to be made on September 7.
