Poor Toyseller On A Bicycle Gets Challan For ‘Motorbike’

Pakistan is indeed growing towards a positive change a day . However, in time we also get to ascertain how there are many occasions where police brutality may become a serious hurdle within the growth and productivity of Pakistan. a really upsetting incident happened today where a poor old man who was selling toys on a bicycle was charged with a hefty ‘motorbike challan’.

A video is out on social media where traffic police might be seen giving Rs520 challan to a toyseller. Although the pauper was traveling on foot and on the side of the road, the traffic police claim he was violating a rule.

In accordance with Pakistani traffic laws, going a wrong way may be a serious offense. It can cause probable road accidents. Fair enough! However, if we glance at it from another angle, the toy seller wasn’t speeding (of course) or rising his bicycle on a busy road. He was simply walking together with his bicycle that had tons of toys thereon .

The traffic police seeing this charged the person with a hefty amount of Rs. 520, which may be a ‘motorcycle challan’.

challan

Although the person kept on posing for forgiveness and a second chance, the traffic police kept on berating this old man and asked him to pay it directly for his mistake. It isn’t wrong the police charged him with a fine. However, what’s truly questionable is how the police are still unsure of what proportion to charge on the idea of offense.

Or, perhaps, the cops are unaware of the difference between a bicycle and a motorcycle . Either way, this poor old man was a victim of their brutality. Before you think that that we are defending offense against justice, we aren’t . it’s to means that this man is being charged a better amount than he’s alleged to pay.

Although the acceptable amount of challan decided by the govt is Rs. 500 for those people the motorbike riders. But the pauper doesn’t even have a motorcycle to start out with within the first place. So, why should he buy something that he doesn’t even own?

Confusing and a tragic state of affairs isn’t it? Why is it in order that we never get to ascertain a person who features a luxury car be arrested for causing major road accidents even? Why is it that only poor people need to be catered to and need to be held accountable under the vice grip of the police.
