Pakistan’s economy on right track: PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said the country’s economy is on the proper track.

In his tweets on Monday, he said the present account balance swung upwards to a surplus of 424 million dollars within the month of July this year. This, he said, after accounting balance posted deficit of 613 million dollars in July last year and a deficit of 100 million dollars in June this year.

The Prime Minister said this strong turnaround may be a results of continuing recovery in exports, which rose one-fifth compared to the month of June and record remittances.
