Islamabad to get first electric vehicle charging station

ederal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary has announced that the primary electric vehicle (EV) charging station are going to be launched in Islamabad.

“Extremely excited to ascertain the launching of first electric Charging Station in Islamabad,” the minister wrote during a tweet.

He added that the primary flagship EV charging facility are going to be found out at Jinnah Avenue Islamabad soon.

“The opening of EV charging stations was another target of Ministry of Science and Technology to encourage E-vehicles as future transportation,” he said.

As the country approved its first-ever electric vehicle (EV) policy last month, vehicles in Pakistan are going to be shifted on electrical power . Under the policy, motorcycles and vehicles would be shifted on electrical power , while EV Manufacturing Units would even be established within the country.
