Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday challenged Prime Minister Imran Khan for a one-on-one LIVE debate.
Speaking on the ground of the National Assembly, Bilawal accused the premier of the many wrongdoings in his present government. He said rock bottom rate of growth was thanks to the PTI government. He added the expansion rate was negative even before the outbreak of coronavirus.
He also accused PM Imran of running an election campaign for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Bilawal further asked, “How could you [PM Imran] say that we are ready for the pandemic when the doctors and nurses are suffering.” He said all this happened due to the ego of the prime minister.
Bilawal challenged PM Imran to possess a debate on his policies either within the House or on any of the tv channels. “Prime minister’s speech was the speech of a puppet and selected, for the selectors. it had been not a speech for the people of Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan had no decide to affect COVID-19 and only opposed lockdown,” he said.
Bilawal added, “Prime minister is extremely keen on giving lectures but doesn’t apply the items he preaches on himself. He had said that he would answer the opposition’s questions within the House every Wednesday but within the last two years, he has never been able to have a debate on any subject. rather than lecturing us, I offer him to debate whether within the House or any channel .”
Currently, PM Khan is facing severe criticism on his recent statement about declaring Osama bin Laden a ‘shaheed’.
Well, we actually hope PM Khan accepts this challenge. it’ll be interesting to ascertain Bilawal and PM Imran debating over the ‘national issues’. quite that, we are excited to listen to PM’s motivational (rather useless) speech and in fact , Bilawal’s Urdu speech in English accent. Which side are you on?
