Aamir Liaquat Hussain announces resignation over Karachi power crisis

Aamir Liaquat Hussain, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf Member of National Assembly from Karachi has decided to resign from the seat.

Citing being useless in solving problems with the metropolitan, Aamir Liaquat during a tweet said, “I confess that i’m a helpless MNA of Karachi. i’m unable to supply electricity to the people of my city”.

“I Cannot bear to ascertain the suffering of Karachi especially my constituency. I cannot bear the lies of (K-Electric CEO) Moonis Alvi. I even have asked for a gathering with PM Imran Khan where i will be able to submit my resignation”, he further added.

Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain was elected as an MNA from NA-245 (Karachi East-IV) Constituency within the general elections held in 2018.
